Teaching Languages | Journal activities | Week 2

This week, we’ll look at some more activities for teaching languages with journals.
_______________
In this second week of this series, we will talk more about journaling activities that can aid you in learning a language.

The first activity we will be talking about is chunks

Any bit of vocabulary you know will be helpful in mastering communication

Journal activity can chunk for different tasks that you have

There are some great paper journals. I see a lot of value in writing things down.

I love using journals to write dialogues

Take those words and chunks of phrases to communicate in different situations and have the proper dialogues

Have your notebook dedicated to the “Gold List Method” – which is essentially recalling a set of words in a relaxed way

Creating doodle pages of vocabulary helps get it into your brain

Hand-to-brain is taking a set of words in a theme, putting it in a journal, doodling, and interacting with the vocabulary
