Introduce, practice and assess asking and answering where people are from in Spanish and the verb ser. The first time you do this, do as a whole class. They will build knowledge about the patterns. You can even print these and have them match the question and answer. Use Suitcases (included in the library) as part of your daily routines to start this off. They select a “suitcase” to answer where different people are “from”. Use the Pear Deck version as an assessment after students have practiced many times during these routines where different people are from.
