Spanish Activity: Write a Message About Someone in Your Family

Directions (for students, in English):

  1. Choose a person from your family (for example: your mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin, grandmother, etc.).
  2. Write a short message (4–6 sentences) introducing this person.
  3. Use the questions (in Spanish) below to guide your writing. You don’t need to answer all of them, but try to use at least 3.
  4. Use the word bank (Spanish/English) to help with vocabulary.
  5. Be sure to include details so your reader can picture this person!

  • ¿Qué relación tienes con esta persona?
  • ¿Cómo es físicamente?
  • ¿Cómo es su personalidad?
  • ¿Qué le gusta hacer?
