Enhancing Language Learning with Guess Who

This handy cheat sheet, available in both French and Spanish, supports students as they play “Guess Who,” an engaging activity for practicing descriptions and vocabulary in the target language. Specifically tailored for different proficiency levels (A, B, and C), here’s how to effectively use the game:

Level A: Students use the provided cheat sheet or card to support their use of basic descriptions. The entire game is conducted in the target language with this support.

Level B: Students play the game entirely in the target language without the aid of a cheat sheet or reference card. At this level, students should comfortably describe the game’s characters, their faces, and features, practicing structures and vocabulary they’ve learned.

Level C: At the most advanced level, students engage fully in the target language, confidently describing characters, formulating more complex questions, and using detailed descriptions and advanced structures.
