Welcome to the 5-Week Linguist Show! In this fourth week of discussing journal activities, Janina will share specific activities that she has done that helped her to go move up levels.

Slang

It’s easy for things like slang, idioms, and proverbs.

Develop advanced level skills.

My rule of thumb is to listen and read twice as much as I speak.

Journaling about what happened in different movies or writing movie reviews could be another way to look at it as a language learner.

Letters

Getting practice writing letters is really important.

Book reviews

Mastering narration is an advanced C-level task, and this is a great way to get that much-needed practice to master it.
