Spanish Present Tense Verb Game: Caramba

Verbs can be very difficult for students to master. Ideally, a lot of time will be spent on comprehensible input activities for natural language acquisition. This activity combines some deliberate learning activities with acquisition.

Students take the cards out of the envelope. If they grab a Caramba card, they keep it and pass the envelope to the next student. If students get the correct answer (saying the verb in English or the verb in Spanish correctly) they keep that card. The student with the most cards at the end wins.

Have fun and master the present tense.
