Spanish Activity: Los Tres Cerditos: A Play for Beginning Students

This play is a version of the Three Little Pigs. It is presented in very simple language and the context is changed to the Spanish-speaking world. While it does not contain any English, your students will likely understand this easily as they probably already know the story.

Here are some ways to use this in your class:

Do the play. I like to create two or three casts with students learning several parts. It gets everyone really involved all of the time and really helps if someone is absent for rehearsal or the actual play.

Do as a reader’s theater.

Assign as independent reading.
