Spanish Preterit Activity. Verbs can be a difficult thing to teach. We learn and master them through hard work, as well as comprehensible input (Krashen). Introduce your students to the preterite and/or use these materials as a review int he context of what they did during their last vacation.
Six years ago, I shared these materials to introduce/reinforce the preterit and have now compiled them into a bundle with Google forms, postcards and a video. Use after vacations as a review or to introduce students to the preterit.
Included:
CI video
Google form version of surveys (both with and without answers with video)
Presentations (timed with and answers and not timed without answers)
Handouts to be used as speaking prompts. One WITH yo-form answer prompts and another WITHOUT for review or a guided essay.
PDF postcards from the Spanish-speaking world to use as an exit ticket. JPG and presentation versions included, too, for flexibility.
