Objective
Students will create an acrostic poem using the letters of their name. They will use adjectives and meaningful words to describe their personality, interests, talents, values, and identity. Students will also include at least 4 visuals that represent who they are.
Directions
- Write your first name vertically down the left side of your paper.
- For each letter, write:
- An adjective that describes you, OR
- A word or phrase that represents something important about you (hobbies, family, dreams, talents, interests, values, etc.).
- Make sure your words and phrases help others learn about who you are.
- Add color and creativity to your poem.
- Include at least 4 visuals (drawings, photos, magazine cutouts, printed images, symbols, or icons) that represent you.
- Check your spelling and neatness before turning in your work.
